Water-Proofing Sumps

Smaller sumps below 5000 liters capacities are constructed with bricks or solid concrete blocks, which may leak, could be due to settlement of the wall and bottom, due to internal pressure of water when it is new. Before treating, it should be ascertained that all-round filling of the earth with proper compactness is necessary.

For RCC tanks normally the leakage is due to cracks or inlet and outlet pipe joints or due to settlement, vision is important to assess the defect, but however it can take up using Aquatyte as this is supposed to be fool proof.
